Humanities

Welcome to The Department of Humanities

In this school, the humanities department is a combination of the arts and social sciences.
The branches of social sciences include Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Psychology and Anthropology.
Social Scientists study how societies work, exploring everything from the triggers of economic growth and the causes of unemployment to what makes people happy. Their findings form public policies, education programmes, urban design, marketing strategies and many other endeavors.
Typical careers in social sciences include working as an organization’s adviser, economist, psychologist, teacher, manager and social worker.
Social sciences examine the relationship between individuals and societies, as well as the development and operation of societies, rather than studying the physical world.
The subject matter of the social sciences: human behaviour, relationship, attitudes and how these things have changed over time is useful information for any successful business to possess.
